Aston Martin has released new video footage of the One-77 undergoing track testing. The video shows an engineering prototype of the One-77 is put through its paces, with running commentary provided by design director Marek Reichman and CEO Ulrich Bez. The One-77 was formally unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. The first customer deliveries are slated for early 2011, with prices starting at around $1.7 million, with only 77 copies being built
Only three days away from the 2010 Paris Motor Show, and the fever pitch is rising as Lamborghini release the fourth teaser image of their new supercar – either a technology concept, a new Gallardo or a replacement for the Murcielago, no one’s sure! And don’t strain your eyes looking at this picture to get clue of what it refers too, it is as pointless as the other three. There are still two more to go!

Porsche launches a small edition of a new 911 Speedster, which premieres at the Paris Motor Show next month. Paying homage to the 356 Speedster, the first Porsche model that bore the name Speedster, the production run for the new model is limited to 356 cars. The two-seater is significantly different from the other members of the 911 family.
Lamborghini have been testing their AS YET UN-NAMED V12 2011 Supercar at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany, as seen in these pics published by CarMagazine.co.uk.
The Murcielago successor will be launched formally at the 2011 Geneva motor show, so we can expect to see plenty more of this screaming wedge-shaped veloceraptor in spy photos over the next six months.

Audio just released the latest photos of the R8 GT, a pared-down version of the Audi supercar. Just 33 are to be produced, and the £142,585 car is destined to be the fastest Audi ever, boasting a 199mph top speed.
Audi have taken expertise gained from its R8 LMS GT3 racecar in developing the GT, meaning but savings on weight. The switch to bucket seats saves 31.5kg alone, plus 4kg of un-sprung mass from the (standard ceramic) brake discs. The GT is only available with Audi’s R tronic gearbox, which normally sends 85 per cent of power to the rear wheels and helps the car along to 62mph in 3.6sec. The order books are now open, with Audi expecting the first deliveries to take place by spring next year.

Eyes forward for the Paris Auto Show – which is where the next Bentley Continental GT will be revealed, with the convertible GTC following next year.
It sports shiny Union Jack badges on front fenders, Dark Metallic soft top and heavy-as-billet Mulliner gas tank caps. The GTC gets 20-inch, 14-spoke wheels with black centers while the GTC Speed gets the lighter-weight Continental Supersports wheel in a dark tint, under which reside red brake calipers. Inside, they both feature aluminum dashes and Beluga leather but the GTC gets contrasting white stitching, the GTC Speed wears Pillar Box Red stitching.
The final thing they have in common: FlexFuel engines capable of running on E85. Meaning the only thing you’ll lose with these two is carbon emissions. We’ll keep you updated as to when you can get your hands on these beauties…

Top Gear have just published their list of the top 10 crappest supercars, featuring vintage supercar excess such as the DeLorean DMC-12 (1981); “Looked like a supercar, went like a lumbering old Metro. With a 130bhp Peugeot V6 instead of the optional flux capacitor, the DMC-12 was woefully slow: catalytic converted models took 10 seconds to crack 60mph. And couldn’t fly.”
See the full list here. Thankfully no vehicles from The 100 Supercar Fleet were harmed or featured during this post..
The 60th anniversary celebration of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Carmel, California this month saw a very very impressive guest star – a Phantom Drophead Coupe model presented by Rolls-Royce, unveiled by their CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös and Chief Designer Ian Cameron and witnessed by SpeedLux
The paint scheme of the car honours Stillwater Cove on the Monterey Peninsula in its Bespoke exterior color and a soft top of navy blue color which is lined with cashmere. The interior is Crème Light leather with Wood fittings made up of cross-banded Santos Pallisander veneer contrasting with the silver pinstripe inlay. There is a complete champagne service installed within the car and crystal flutes which match the teak covered picnic deck. There is also a refrigerated cabinet under the luggage compartment floor.

According to reports out of Italy this week, Ferrari has developed a more efficient and ‘environmentally-minded’ version of the Ferrari California 4.3 litre V8 engine. While Ferrari has confirmed plans for future hybrid systems , the new California is instead expected to feature an automatic start-stop system and KERS-like brake-energy regeneration technology. The engine itself is expected to include internal revisions for reduced friction, an updated direct-injection system and cylinder deactivation – a first for Ferrari. Future emissions-driven projects at Ferrari are expected to include V6 and hybrid powertrains.
